Victory Team Apparel

Victory Team Apparel is an online athletic apparel company based in San Diego, California. They sale in-house and brand-name competitive sports apparel and gear, specializing in manufacturing cheerleading products. As a senior graphic designer and house photographer, I gained invaluable experience designing graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns and printed catalogs; learning app design and development; photo/video production, editing and retouching; photoshoot planning and directing assistant; cross-departmental collaboration, such as VP of sales and marketing department.

As a skilled researcher and effective collaborator, I consistently found visual solutions to help reach the company’s goals. I found it crucial to routinely communicate with key departments such as product development, web, marketing, and Mag+ software support teams. Another key strength I embody is the ability to research and find viable solutions independently.

My responsibilities included overseeing the art department’s projects from concept to delivery, mentored and reviewed junior designer’s work, product photographer, retouching photos of models and products, developed and designed quarterly issues of the CheerLiving Magazine App. For our biannual photoshoots, I worked closely with the art director and marketing team to research and plan campaigns for the company’s upcoming promotions. I was in charge with contacting local modeling agencies, delegating tasks to junior designers, writing the shot list, scouting locations, and assisting photographer with the shot list workflow.
