Baby Bear’s Birthday

Watercolor is one of my favorite mediums to work with due to the vibrant, yet soft qualities it can create. Drawing inspiration from my 1 year-old niece Mila, who loves bears, I painted this Valentine’s bear for her birthday invitations. Mila May’s birthday is on Valentines day, so integrating hearts was an obvious design decision. I hand painted all artistic elements with watercolor, and then digitally processed the images via Photoshop and Illustrator.
